Job summary

ENGEO Incorporated is seeking a Project Accountant to serve as a vital link between project managers and clients, managing project financial data and invoicing in line with contract terms. The role involves solving complex billing issues, maintaining client/project databases, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in MS Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic computer programs.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Inherent interest in accounting and a strong desire to learn and automate processes.
• Experience in engineering consulting or construction industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and issue complex project invoices in strict accordance with established contract terms.
• Maintain and update client and project database files to ensure data integrity.
• Act as a primary resource for clients and internal project managers, answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
• Monitor project financials and proactively provide relevant updates to stakeholders.
