The Waldinger Corporation in Omaha is seeking a Project Accountant to support the accounting and administrative needs of construction projects. This role covers project setup, billings, change orders and overall job management.

Responsibilities include accounts receivable and payable tasks, contract data management, and additional administrative support as required. A minimum of two years in accounting and an Associate's Degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounting experience, construction industry experience preferred
• Associate's Degree preferred

Responsabilités

• Project accounting duties for assigned projects, including new job set up, job billings, change order processing and overall job management.
• Accounts receivable: review past due accounts and pursue timely collections for construction receivables.
• Accounts payable: handle AP queries and process formal PO and subcontract invoices.
• Contract management: maintain database of contracts and change orders for construction jobs.
• Administrative duties: perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed.
