Job summary

The Waldinger Corporation in Omaha seeks a qualified Project Engineer - Construction to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. You will assist with schedules, RFIs, documentation, and liaison with managers, engineers, and field personnel to keep projects on time and within budget.

You will review drawings, provide technical guidance, and monitor quality and safety standards, while supporting budget tracking and cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in project planning, coordination and exposure to construction/engineering projects is preferred.
• Ability to manage documentation, RFIs, and coordination with field personnel and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing project plans and schedules.
• Provide engineering support, review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Monitor quality and safety standards, conduct inspections and audits as needed.
• Track project costs and expenditures against budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Communicate with team members, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
