CFS in Keen esburg, CO is seeking a Project Accountant to own billing, contracts, and project financials. The role offers hybrid work with one remote day per week and a compensation range of $75,000–$85,000 plus bonus potential.

You will collaborate with project managers and operations to manage invoicing and financial reporting for multiple active projects. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project billing or related fields, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/accounting systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project billing, construction billing, project accounting, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
• Experience working with contracts, change orders, or project-based billing.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working within an ERP or accounting system.
• Understanding of job costing or project accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating with project managers and operations teams.
• Spectrum experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and financial administration for multiple active projects.
• Review customer contracts and identify project-specific billing requirements.
• Set up new projects and billing structures within the ERP system.
• Prepare and process project invoices accurately and on schedule.
• Track contracts, change orders, billing activity, and project financial information.
• Partner with project managers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
• Assist with job costing and project financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and system data.
