Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Clinical Unit Leader for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at West Hospital. The Lead RN/Charge Nurse will coordinate patient care with the clinical manager, guiding the health care team to promote excellence in practice and patient satisfaction while optimizing resources.

Responsibilities include organizing staff schedules, mentoring team members, maintaining safety and infection control, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth admissions,

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state they are working
• BSN preferred; master’s degree optional
• 2 years nursing experience with 1 year in acuity level
• Leadership or preceptor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit.
• Lead and mentor staff on the unit.
• Maintain safety standards and infection control.
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
