Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a Lead RN/Charge Nurse to coordinate patient care on a designated unit, collaborating with the Clinical Manager to promote clinical excellence and a positive patient experience. The role ensures safe, efficient care delivery and staff guidance on a day-to-day basis.

The position requires a BSN (preferred), an active RN license (state or compact), and BLS; additional certifications are welcome to support unit leadership and interprofessional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state of employment or compact.
• BLS required or readily obtainable; specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit with the Clinical Manager.
• Adjust schedules and assignments based on acuity and resources.
• Provide staff guidance, clinical support, and role modeling.
• Promote patient safety, quality care and patient experience.
• Mentor staff, resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication.
