Waukesha County’s Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a Programs & Projects Analyst to oversee quality assurance in the Economic Support Services program. You will supervise the QA team, coach ESS staff, and build data systems to inform leadership and drive training analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/public/healthcare administration or related field.

  • Master's degree may substitute for one year of the work experience requirement.

Responsibilities

SALARY RANGE $31.84 - $44.20 WORK ASSIGNMENT DETAILS Waukesha County’s Department of Health and Human Services is recruiting for a Programs & Projects Analyst to oversee quality assurance in the Economic Support Services (ESS) program. Starting pay rate is $34/hour. This position advises and trains Economic Support staff regarding new and existing Income Maintenance (IM) eligibility policy, procedure, and systems initiatives to achieve the following outcomes: prevent incorrect eligibility decisions and benefit issuance; ensure Moraine Lakes Consortium residents receive the benefits and services available to them in an equitable and timely manner; contribute to the State and local agencies’ error reduction efforts; promote efficient and effective administration of these programs and prevent system misuse and fraudulent activities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Quality Assurance (QA) reviews and analysis and supervise the QA team comprised of ESS workers.
  • Coach and mentor ESS staff.
  • Conduct targeted QA reviews using the Income Maintenance Quality Assurance (IMQA) tool and the Pre-certification Review (PCR) for payment accuracy and correction of case errors.
  • Build and maintain data systems to inform leadership and drive training need analysis for line staff.
  • Document case findings in the PCR and IMQA tools, and on data collection spreadsheets.
  • Report on trends and individual errors for program management.
  • Follow-through for timely recommended corrective actions on case reviews.
  • Select targeted cases for QA reviews.
  • Provide special one-on-one intervention training to designated staff with performance challenges.
  • Mentor QA ESS staff in their reviews of eligibility determinations.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with Moraine Lakes staff, ADRC, DHS, recipients and advocacy groups.

Minimum Training & Experience Requirements
  • 1. Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in business or public or healthcare administration, the social services, police science, or a closely related field.
  • 2. Two (2) years of responsible professional work experience which includes research, analysis, evaluation, planning, project management, law enforcement duties, or a closely related area.
  • 3. A master’s degree in an area listed above maybe substituted for one year of the work experience requirement.
