M.C. Dean in Charleston, SC, seeks a Program Support Specialist 1 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to assist program management on contractual deliverables, documentation, and procurement support.

You will collaborate with management and engineering teams to ensure timely procurement, tracking, and compliance with federal contracts; travel may be required. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, multitasking, and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain public trust level clearance required.
• High school diploma with 6+ years of experience or 4+ with an Associates degree or 0+ with a Bachelors degree.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; accurate and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and portal interactions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Program Management on contractual matters, deliverables, and reporting.
• Maintain contractual, proposal, and project documentation including repositories.
• Prepare, track, and file documentation for permits, security, certifications, and travel requests.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and handle issue resolution.
• Track project deliverables for technical installation and shipping documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and support procurement/shipment.
