Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Program Support Specialist 1 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will work with Program Management on contractual matters, maintain documentation, and support procurement and delivery processes for federal, local, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities include ensuring contract compliance, tracking deliverables, managing material lists, and coordinating vendor relationships. Travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 6+ years of experience or a 4+ with an Associates degree or 0+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to interact effectively with a wide variety of individuals in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Must have strong multitasking skills.
• Must have strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and customer portals.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite; knowledge of MS SharePoint.
• Federal / DoD contract experience is beneficial.
• This position may require travel.

Responsibilities

• Work and collaborate with Program Management on business and contractual matters, including preparation and monitoring of deliverables and reporting.
• Maintain contractual, proposal, and project documentation including contract repositories.
• Prepare, track, and file documentation for employee permits, security, certification, access, and travel requests.
• Maintain contractual, proposal, and project documentation including contract repositories.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
• Serve as focal point for ongoing issue resolution, including commercial and federal compliance (terms and conditions), acceptance, and payment issues.
• Complete and track project deliverables for technical installation (inventory reports, QA test forms, daily status reports, disposition reports).
• Create and modify material lists, prepare shipping documentation, and track material through project lifecycle.
• Consolidate purchases, shipments, and deliveries; develop a system to track and expedite deliveries.
• Research part numbers, manufacturers, product specifications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
