Job summary

YAI - Seeing beyond disability is seeking a Program Supervisor in Brooklyn to ensure health, safety, and habilitation for people we support. You will supervise staff, lead interdisciplinary meetings, and maintain program records while ensuring compliance and financial stewardship.

The role requires supervisory and Direct Support Professional experience, with a BA/BS preferred, and a flexible, problem-solving approach in a dynamic I/DD setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS strongly preferred
• Prior supervisory experience required
• Prior Direct Support Professional experience preferred
• Background in supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensuring health, safety, and habilitation of the people we support.
• Ensuring appropriate supervision to ensure health and safety.
• Leading and facilitating interdisciplinary team meetings and staff meetings.
• Attending regional and agency supervisor meetings.
• Overseeing all financial systems, maintaining records for the people we support and program expenditures.
• Operating the program within budgetary guidelines.
• Maintaining a safe environment for staff and the people we support and reporting any hazardous conditions.
