Job summary

Sevita's Missouri Mentor program seeks an experienced leader to supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals serving individuals with IDD. You’ll coach, train, and coordinate staffing to deliver high-quality care with a person-centered approach.

Starting pay is $23.35 per hour, with on-demand pay and comprehensive benefits for full-time staff. This leadership role blends hands-on support with team development and program operations across our community-based services.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience in lieu of education.
Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A compassionate heart and a natural drive to lead by example.

Responsibilities

Supervise, coach, and support a team of DSPs
Help train and onboard new team members
Coordinate schedules and help maintain staffing coverage
Support daily program operations and quality of care
Promote independence, safety, and person-centered support
Communicate with staff and leadership to keep the program running smoothly
Step in alongside your team to provide hands-on support when needed, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, and community activities
