Job summary

Sevita's Missouri Mentor program seeks a Program Supervisor to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals serving individuals with IDD. You will supervise, coach, and support staff while coordinating schedules and ensuring high-quality care.

This leadership role blends training, operations management, and hands-on involvement to promote independence, safety, and person-centered support across the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years caregiving experience in lieu of education.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and natural leadership drive.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of DSPs.
• Help train and onboard new team members.
• Coordinate schedules and maintain staffing coverage.
• Support daily program operations and quality of care.
• Promote independence, safety, and person-centered support.
• Communicate with staff and leadership to keep the program running smoothly.
• Provide hands-on support when needed, including personal care, meal prep, medication administration, transportation, and community activities.
