Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a Program Supervisor in Missouri to lead and support a team of Direct Support Professionals serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll supervise, coach, and coordinate scheduling while promoting safe, person-centered care.

This leadership role emphasizes hands-on guidance and collaboration with leadership to ensure quality services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience in lieu of education.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A compassionate heart and a natural drive to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of DSPs
• Help train and onboard new team members
• Coordinate schedules and help maintain staffing coverage
• Support daily program operations and quality of care
• Promote independence, safety, and person-centered support
• Communicate with staff and leadership to keep the program running smoothly
• Step in alongside your team to provide hands‑on support when needed, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, and community activities
