Job summary

Mentor Community Services, a part of Sevita, seeks a Program Supervisor in Missouri to lead and support Direct Support Professionals serving individuals with IDD. If you’re ready for more responsibility, you may already have the foundation we’re looking for.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 5 years of caregiving experience in lieu of education.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• A compassionate heart and a natural drive to lead by example.
• Experience as a DSP, Caregiver, Lead DSP, House Lead, Team Lead, Residential Support Professional, or Direct Care Worker is a great foundation for this role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of DSPs
• Help train and onboard new team members
• Coordinate schedules and help maintain staffing coverage
• Support daily program operations and quality of care
• Promote independence, safety, and person-centered support
• Communicate with staff and leadership to keep the program running smoothly
• Step in alongside your team to provide hands‑on support when needed, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, transportation, and community activities
