Job summary

YMCA of Greater Long Beach is seeking a Branch Programs Supervisor to oversee a TK/K support program and supervise staff, with direct support from the Executive Director. The role involves managing enrollments, cash handling, and program software like DAXKO, while tracking usage and evaluating service quality.

The position requires 2 years of related experience, CPR/First Aid/AED, and a college degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• College Degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
• 2 years' experience in related field required.
• Experience in program leadership and staff supervision preferred.
• Experience in sales/marketing, membership retention, program leadership and staff supervision preferred
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, organizational skills, basic PC and typing skills required.
• Additional Requirements: Criminal Clearance: Including Fingerprints and background clearance
• Health Screening with Negative TB Test and Negative Drug test screening.
• Complete all required online training(s).

Responsibilities

• Manage Branch programs, cash management and receipting procedures, enrollments and registrations, receivables and payments.
• Monitor program usage, check-in and service procedures, cancellations and changes; ensure accurate processing and management of program software systems including DAXKO.
• Track program usage, inquiries, tours, terminations, and prepare reports; collect and distribute program evaluations; conduct satisfaction surveys.
• Assist with the hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff; attend staff meetings; ensure program requirements are enforced.
• Promote program awareness through publications, marketing materials and member promotion programs; participate in community/facility events.
• Support fundraising and special events; serve as staff liaison for fundraising team; provide staff leadership for branch events.
• Follow and enforce safety standards, policies and procedures; ensure proper care and use of assets.
• Attend all staff meetings, trainings and YMCA functions; maintain open communication with staff, parents, and supervisor.
• Maintain accurate staff and program documentation; assist with onboarding and professional development.
• Collaborate with LBUSD site administrators and teachers to assess satisfaction and coordinate YMCA services.
