Job summary

YMCA of Greater Long Beach seeks an energetic supervisor to oversee branch programs with a focus on administration, member services and staff leadership. You will manage enrollments, payments, and program software, while tracking usage and preparing regular reports.

Qualifications

• College Degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification required.
• 2 years experience in related field required.
• Experience in program leadership and staff supervision preferred.
• Experience in sales/marketing, membership retention, program leadership and staff supervision preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, organizational skills, basic PC and typing skills required.
• Criminal Clearance: Including Fingerprints and background clearance
• Negative TB Test.
• Must attend a new employee orientation within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage Branch programs, cash management and receipting procedures, enrollments and registrations, receivables and payments.
• Monitor program usage, check-in and service procedures, cancellations and changes; ensure accurate processing of program software systems including DAXKO.
• Track program usage, inquiries, tours, terminations; prepare reports and surveys.
• Assist with member relations, inquiries, complaints and new program sign-ups; process financial assistance requests.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of staff; attend staff meetings.
• Assist with promoting program awareness through publications and events.
• Assist with fundraising and event efforts; liaise with fundraising team; lead branch events.
• Follow safety standards and protect assets; attend YMCA functions as required.
• Maintain open communication with staff, parents and supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
