Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs is seeking a Program Operations Specialist 1 to support quality review of assessments, data analysis, and contract vendor oversight. The role also helps with IT system development, quality assurance, and training delivery across state offices and regional locations in Syracuse.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in human services, 2 years of relevant experience, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with data systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services field required.
• Two years of experience in federal or state certified human service program.
• Administrative experience involving planning, coordinating, monitoring or evaluating services.
• Strong writing, verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and knowledge of multiple data systems.
• Valid NY driver’s license preferred; 65% travel required.
