Job summary

SDSU Research Foundation is seeking a Program Specialist for the SAILN program in San Diego. The role supports coordination, administration, and day‑to‑day operations of program activities under the Directors of SAILN and LARC.

The position involves maintaining project information, communicating with instructors and stakeholders, and helping ensure activities are completed on schedule. It requires strong organizational and collaborative skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in technical or administrative assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supports day-to-day coordination and administration of activities.
• Create and maintain Google Forms, spreadsheets, contact lists, shared calendars, Zoom links, and organized Google Drive folders for each program year and leadership team.
• Coordinate rooms, equipment, technology setup, materials, and other logistical details for in-person, virtual, and hybrid programming.
• Track registrations, attendance, participation, completion, and other program data for reporting.
• Collect program descriptions, objectives, participant feedback, and lead reflections to document outcomes and guide improvements.
• Monitor and respond to SAILN email and serve as a point of contact for participants, leads, partners, educators.
• Assist with identifying training opportunities, resources, and materials for program activities.
• Prepare, produce, and distribute promotional, educational, informational, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate resources, track activities and deliverables, and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
