Resources for Human Development in Philadelphia seeks an experienced Assistant Program Director to lead program staff in partnership with the Program Director and ensure ethical, professional operations.

You will supervise staff, support recruitment, training, audits, compliance, and crisis interventions while promoting person-centered support and community integration. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and commitment to dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to complete required employment screenings, including FBI clearance when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Site Supervisors, Program Specialists, medical staff, and Direct Support Professionals.
• Oversee daily operations, supervision practices, plans, and documentation.
• Assist with staff supervision, training, hiring, orientation, and progressive discipline.
• Coordinate candidate interviews and support recruitment processes.
• Prepare site documentation for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, funder, and budget requirements.
• Provide support during crises and help individuals access resources.

Education
