Job summary

Alternative Community Resource Program, Inc. is seeking a Director of Human Resources to serve as the senior HR leader, partnering with the CEO and leadership team to drive workforce strategy and planning across multiple locations in Pennsylvania.

You will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HR operations while fostering a trauma-informed, employee-centered culture that supports mission-driven services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of HR leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on workforce strategy and organizational planning.
• Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Develop workforce strategies that support agency growth and operational sustainability.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and workforce development activities.
• Build innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent across clinical, administrative, and support positions.
• Develop partnerships with colleges, workforce development programs, and community organizations.
• Serve as the primary resource for employee relations matters.
• Conduct workplace investigations and provide guidance on performance management and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Administer employee benefits programs and annual open enrollment.
• Oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other protected leave programs.
• Manage HRIS systems, workforce analytics, and personnel records.
• Champion a trauma-informed, employee-centered workplace culture.
• Lead employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and professional development initiatives.
• Promote a workplace built on trust, collaboration, respect, and employee wellbeing.
