Job summary

SELF Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Assistant Program Director to support the Program Director in overseeing day-to-day operations of our program.

You will help develop and administer skill-building, educational, and transformational programming for participants, ensuring activities align with funder requirements. You will lead staff, monitor compliance, coordinate services, document performance, and help prepare weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 3 years in a program serving homeless, mental health, or substance abuse populations.
• Minimum 1 year in a supervisory or team-support role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily administration and supervision of all program services and activities.
• Ensure program activities meet funding regulations and organizational policies.
• Support implementation of clear program objectives aligned with funder requirements.
• Supervise staff, conduct regular check-ins, and manage scheduling challenges.
• Coordinate program activities and document compliance with standards.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly program reports.
