Job summary

TAG MedStaffing seeks an Assistant Program Director to oversee daily case management, housing services, and staff supervision in community-based programs serving vulnerable populations.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, data-driven performance, and collaboration with community partners, with a focus on trauma-informed, client-centered services and crisis management. Strong leadership and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience and 3+ years of experience supporting vulnerable populations within homeless services, supportive housing, behavioral health, human services, or a related field are required.
• Experience within shelter operations, supportive housing, case management, or community-based programs is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic case management or program reporting systems is required.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, crisis management, problem-solving, and team development skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, supervise staff, and support a fast-paced, client-focused environment are required. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily case management and housing services while supporting operational goals, service delivery, and program performance.
• Supervise case management supervisors and program staff, providing coaching, performance management, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements while supporting audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote trauma-informed, client-centered services while supporting crisis response, housing placement efforts, and complex client situations.
• Monitor program metrics, oversee documentation, review program data, and implement corrective actions to improve operational outcomes.
• Partner with program leadership, community organizations, and internal stakeholders to support program initiatives and serve as acting program lead when needed.
