Job summary

University of California, Berkeley is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) virtual programs. You will coordinate curriculum support, student engagement, staff and instructor coordination, program operations, communications, and evaluation.

You will attract diverse applicants, develop materials, manage budgets, and implement edtech solutions to enhance online learning and youth entrepreneurship education.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge and experience in business, finance or entrepreneurship and/or youth development.
• Comprehensive experience advising and supporting students regarding postsecondary opportunities and careers.
• Advanced knowledge of K-12 and higher education policies and issues; ability to assess impact on program strategies.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple critical projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and management of multiple virtual High School & Middle School programs (30%).
• Recruit faculty, PhD students, outside lecturers, and volunteers to deliver program content.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials for segments not taught by faculty; syllabus for academic year programs.
• Research, evaluate, and implement edtech learning technologies; lead implementation and training.
• Observe feedback from programs and make recommendations for future programming.
• Collaborate with Program Director and Summer Program Manager on syllabus development, recruitment, and delivery.
