Job summary

UC Berkeley Business Academy for Youth (B-BAY) seeks a Program Manager to lead the planning, development, and delivery of its virtual programs for high school and middle school students. You will coordinate curriculum support, instructor and staff, and oversee communications and evaluation to ensure programs are engaging and aligned with Haas community goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in business, finance or entrepreneurship and/or youth development.
• Experience advising and supporting students regarding postsecondary opportunities and careers.
• Up-to-date knowledge of K-12 and higher education policies and issues and their impact on program strategies.
• Experience with educational equity programs serving diverse students and strong cultural competency.
• Ability to learn common UC applications (Canvas, Canva, Airtable, Slack, Microsoft and Google suites) and risk assessment procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and management of B-BAY virtual programs and curricula.
• Recruit faculty, students and volunteers to deliver program content.
• Coordinate staff coaching, supervision and program support across teams.
• Maintain engagement with B-BAY alumni and Haas community throughout the year.
