Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to support the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) and MDDU. The PM will lead regional deployments, manage field operations, logistics, and fleet support for a national CBRN capability.

The role emphasizes radiological/nuclear detection and the ability to deploy with little notice. Applicants should have substantial R/N detection experience, travel readiness (50–75%), and the ability to coordinate multiple agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiological/nuclear detection equipment.
• 12 years experience in R/N detection training and operations at events or steady state.
• Travel 50–75% of the month within CONUS and US territories.
• Active CDL or ability to obtain one immediately after hire.
• Security clearance and DHS suitability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise regional mobile detection deployment units (MDDU) during operations.
• Provide program management, field operations, logistics and fleet support.
• Develop and deploy field detection surge deployments for events.
• Augment capability structures with detection tech and SME support.
• Support regional screening teams and equipment trailers for events and transport routes.
• Deploy advanced radiation detection equipment for evolving threats.
• Supplement public safety agencies with diverse detection assets.
• Maintain state-of-the-art CBRN detection tech and training support.
• Strategically locate equipment caches and technical personnel for rapid deployment.
