Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a site lead for the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) to support MDDU deployments. The role oversees location-specific tasks, coordinates equipment transport, and ensures readiness for national security events. Experience with radiological/nuclear detection is required.

Position may require travel, deployment on short notice, and occasional after-hours work. This contract-award dependent role supports Federal and State partners and first responders.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation.
• 10 years in R/N detection training and support for events or operations.
• Knowledge of PRD, RIID, and radiation detection equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and report program tasks.
• Deploy equipment to designated locations as requested.
• Coordinate and track deployments and maintenance of gear.
• Ensure equipment is ready 24/7 for deployments and emergencies.
• Provide after-action reports and training when needed.
• Assist with scheduling part-time staff for surge deployments.
• Report status updates to Program Manager.
