Job summary

dawsonohana is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) contract. You will lead a specialized team delivering CBRN detection support to federal and state partners, coordinating with the CO/COR and CWMD program office.

The role requires travel, surge deployments, and readiness for 24/7 operations. Location options include Fort Dix, NJ; Herndon, VA; Indianapolis, IN; Mobile, AL; Novato, CA; Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with advanced DHS CWMD/MDDP experience.
• Must obtain and maintain DHS Suitability and Secret-level Security Clearance.
• Minimum 20 years operational CBRN experience in detection planning/execution.
• NIMS/ICS certifications (e.g., IC 100/200/700) required.
• Minimum 5 years in personnel management and leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract work to align with DHS objectives and manage staff timecards, hiring, retention, and talent management.
• Lead TSS team to maintain proficiency in CBRN equipment, tactics, and procedures; conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate CBRN detection operations, including planning logistics and detection activities for national security events and threat responses.
• Deliver weekly progress reports, monthly program status reports, and annual performance summaries; maintain drug and alcohol testing per federal regs.
• Track budgeting and expendables via cloud dashboard; approve travel authorizations and procurements (ODC).
• Provide CBRN operations support including developing plans, procedures, and equipment checks; support surge deployments and NSSE events.
