Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a Site Lead to manage the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) and unit deployments. The role centers on radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation, program planning, and rapid response for national and security events.

Responsibilities include coordinating deployments, maintaining equipment readiness, providing training, and producing AAR reports. Travel 50–75% nationwide and a valid CDL/driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear CBRN detection with emphasis on R/N detection.
• 10 years relevant experience in R/N detection training and supporting preventive R/N detection mission operations at special events or steady state operations.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize and report on all program planning and management taskings.
• Deploy equipment as needed, transporting detection equipment via towable trailer to locations designated by the client.
• Coordinate, initiate and track deployments of the assigned equipment.
• Ensure detection equipment is repaired, calibrated, and maintained in a ready state for deployment 24/7/365.
• Provide coverage during standard and non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Provide just-in-time training on deployed equipment to stakeholders at events.
• Ensure completion of After-Action Reports (AAR).
• Assist with scheduling off-site part-time staff to support surge deployments.
• Provide status updates to the Program Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
