Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Project Manager to lead the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) across multiple sites, including Indianapolis, IN. You will manage a specialized team tasked with CBRN detection support for federal, state, and local partners, with travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites as needed.

The role requires leadership, operational oversight, and extensive experience in CBRN operations, NSSE readiness, and surge deployments.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced training/experience on an MDDP team or equivalent DHS/DOD/CBRNE background.
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability and Secret-level Security Clearance.
• Minimum 20 years of operational CBRN planning/ops experience.
• NIMS/ICS certifications (IC 100, 200, 700) are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of personnel management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract work to align with DHS objectives and manage staffing, timecards, hiring, and retention.
• Lead Technical Support Specialists; conduct quarterly and annual performance evaluations.
• Coordinate CBRN detection operations and logistics for national security events and threat responses.
• Deliver weekly progress, monthly status, and annual performance reports; maintain drug/alcohol testing per regulations.
• Track budgets/ODCs; approve travel authorizations and procurements; provide input for performance reviews.
• Develop and execute CBRN detection plans, procedures, and equipment checks; report as needed.
• Uphold MDDP professional standards in communications with staff and partners.
• Provide program status reports to CWMD MDDP program office on weekly, monthly, and yearly cadence.
• Schedule involves 40-hour flex with potential nights, weekends, holidays for 24/7 ops.
• Maintain availability 0800–1700 EST, with a 4-hour response time for issues.
