Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a site lead for the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) at Fort Dix, NJ. You will manage operational tasks, deploy radiological/nuclear detection equipment, and coordinate cross-site deployments for national security events.

The role requires 10 years in RN detection training and strong reporting/presentation skills. Travel up to 75% and SECRET clearance eligibility are required. This is a full-time, contract-award dependent position.

Qualifications

• 10 years RN detection training and operations experience at events or steady-state missions.
• Experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation.
• Must possess or obtain and maintain a SECRET level security clearance and DHS Suitability.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize and report on all program planning and management taskings.
• Deploy equipment as needed, including transporting detection gear via towable trailer.
• Coordinate, initiate and track deployments of assigned equipment.
• Ensure detection equipment is repaired, calibrated, and maintained for deployment 24/7.
• Provide coverage during standard and non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Provide just-in-time training on deployed equipment to stakeholders at events.
• Ensure completion of After-Action Reports (AAR).
• Assist with scheduling off-site staff to support surge deployments.
• Provide status updates to Program Manager.
