Job summary

Hope For Youth, Inc. in New York seeks a Program Manager – Licensed Social Worker to lead the Adolescent Diagnostic and Respite Services Program on Long Island. LMSW is required; LCSW preferred.

You will oversee case management, aftercare, and diagnostic evaluations, supervising a small team in a 35-hour workweek with a $65,000–$70,000 salary. Some remote work may be available; must have NY driver’s license and vehicle access. 24/7 on-call coverage and weekend rotation are required.

Qualifications

• LMSW required; LCSW preferred.
• Two years of post-master's experience with child-serving systems (e.g., child welfare or juvenile justice).
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting portals.
• A valid New York State driver’s license in good standing.
• Access to a reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement is available.
• Availability for 24/7 on-call coverage during the week and participation in a weekend on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee case management, aftercare services, psychosocial assessments, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Directly supervise the Assistant Program Manager, Case Worker, and Case Worker Assistant.
• Support daily program operations and ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
• Coordinate with Departments of Social Services, schools, families, and other service providers.
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed.
• Develop discharge plans and provide six months of aftercare services.
