Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Eatontown, NJ seeks a Program Manager to lead a group home and implement developmental plans for individuals in care. The position reports to the Program Director and offers a salary between $58,000 and $68,000.

You will oversee staff, ensure shifts are covered, and coordinate community-based activities while promoting a collaborative, servant-leadership culture. This role emphasizes growth and impact within a respected nonprofit.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; bachelor's in related field preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years of experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic and team-based approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual.
• Ensures facilities are maintained and Devereux is a good neighbor.
• Oversees staff within assigned programs including hiring and payroll accuracy.
• Ensures shifts are adequately covered.
• Supervises planning, implementation and documentation of programs to meet needs.
• Plans and participates in group outings for individuals.
• Manages shopping for home necessities and household items.
• Schedules and transports individuals to appointments and programs.
