Job summary

Devereux New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager to lead a group home and report to the Program Director in Pitman, NJ. You will supervise staff, develop individual plans, and ensure program quality and community relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• Driver's license valid (non-provisional).
• Ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health care setting.
• 2 years of experience with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic with a team-based approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational and developmental plans for individuals.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to present Devereux positively in the community.
• Oversee staff, including hiring, performance, attendance, payroll and training compliance.
• Ensure shifts are adequately covered.
• Supervise programs to meet social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan group outings and manage shopping for the home’s necessities.
• Schedule and transport individuals to appointments, shopping trips and programs.
