Devereux New Jersey is recruiting a Program Manager based in Cape May, NJ, overseeing our group home. Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver’s license.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting.
• Empathetic with a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor.
• Oversee staff within the program including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy and training.
• Ensure shifts are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs addressing social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings; manage home shopping.
• Schedule and transport individuals to appointments and day programs/schools.

Skills
