Job summary

Devereux New Jersey is seeking a Program Manager to lead a dedicated team in Mount Royal, NJ. The role focuses on developing and implementing individualized plans, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality services for individuals in our care.

The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director and oversees our group home, driving growth, compliance and community collaboration in a challenging, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
• Valid non-provisional driver's license.
• Willingness to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
• Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
• Empathetic and team-oriented approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual.
• Maintain facilities to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed community member.
• Oversee staff including hiring, performance management, attendance, payroll accuracy and training compliance.
• Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
• Supervise planning, implementation and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in group outings for individuals.
• Manage shopping for home necessities such as food, clothing and household items.
• Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips and day programs/schools.
