Job summary

Valor Healthcare in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the Department of the Air Force, AGOW HPO contract, delivering clinical leadership and contract oversight for personnel focused on readiness and performance.

The role requires managing staff, coordinating with the COR, ensuring contract compliance, and driving strategic plans across multiple sites. Schedule: Mon–Fri 0730–1630 local time, excluding federal holidays. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years program management experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Healthcare related field.
• Experience managing contracts in Healthcare, Occupational Health or HPO supporting military, law-enforcement or first responders.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project Manager, Power BI, Teams, Copilot).
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for contractor personnel and coordinate staffing actions.
• Oversee direction, motivation, and development of staff to align with mission and values.
• Develop and foster relationships with COR and other stakeholders.
• Collect data, analyze trends and prepare reports for the COR.
• Collaborate with client to meet contract goals and performance metrics.
• Oversee development and evaluation of strategic plans and program goals.
• Monitor site performance and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Report significant issues to the COR and participate in recruitment strategies.
