Job summary

The Housing Authority of Prince George’s County, Maryland (HAPGC) is hiring a Program Manager-Inspections to oversee HQS & NSPIRE inspections and lead staff in the Housing Choice Voucher division. You will manage inspection scheduling, rule compliance, and relationships with property owners to ensure safe, decent, and affordable housing for residents.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and at least three years of progressively responsible housing program experience with

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business or Public Administration, Social Services, Sociology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional technical, analytical and developmental work experience in housing programs with a least one (1) year in a lead/supervisory role.
• Any equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensures overall agency compliance with HQS & NSPIRE inspections and scheduling.
• Oversees and monitors the execution of inspections for accuracy and timeliness.
• Operationalizes regulatory requirements and program updates in forms, policies, and staff protocols.
• Ensures all units are safe, sanitary, and in good repair in compliance with regulations and agency requirements.
• Develops and maintains inspection scheduling systems to ensure timely completion.
