Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Food Pantry is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate volunteers, manage workflows, and support patient engagement. The role leads the volunteer team under the Director of Operations, ensuring program success and long-term sustainability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in outreach or pantry management, and prefer 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

This individual will serve as the program's operational lead and will coordinate volunteers, manage daily workflows, support patient engagement activities, and ensure the project's overall success and sustainability.The Food Pantry will be supported primarily by volunteers, so the ideal candidate should have experience leading, directing, and overseeing volunteer teams. Responsibilities will include volunteer coordination and training, scheduling support, patient and consumer intake interviews, inventory management, data tracking and reporting, appointment coordination, and maintaining operational processes.The Project Manager will work closely with operational and community partners and, with support from the Director of Operations, will help lead the implementation and long-term success of this initiative.EducationBachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public health, nonprofit management) or equivalent work experience is required.ExperienceExperience in outreach programs, food pantry management, or social services is required. At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.Schedule:Must be available to work 8 and 10 hour days.We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $61,131.20 - $96,262.40 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
