Job summary

Sentara Health in Woodbridge, VA seeks a Manager of Facility Operations to oversee Life Safety and Environment of Care, plan and supervise plant operations and maintenance, and drive safe, reliable facility performance.

You will lead teams, manage budgets, coordinate service delivery, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Requires at least 4 years in maintenance management and a High School degree.

Overview

The Manager of Facility Operations performs diverse duties including managing Life Safety and Environment of Care. Plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary. The leader is accountable for maintaining an effective department, for administering labor and material controls, for training of maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices

• The Manager of Facility Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, supervision, coordination, and control the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions.
• The activities are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utilities and grounds in an operative and safe working condition.
• Coordinate quality customer service activities, purchasing, payroll, and budgeting processes.
• Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as the technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team.
• Responsible for coordinating the delivery of high-quality services that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $95,680.00 - $152,089.60 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
