Job summary

The J Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center is seeking a Program Manager to supervise Direct Support Professionals across multiple residential and day program settings. The role ensures adherence to agency policies and licensing rules while guiding consumers toward high-quality, valued lives.

The Program Manager reports to the Director of Adult Services and collaborates with site supervisors, HR, and administrative staff to operate programs within budget and promote community engagement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A 2-year degree or certificate in human services field or equivalent.
• Demonstrated management and training experience.
• 5 years of direct support experience in community human services.
• Ability to complete requisite background checks satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Operates program operations in collaboration with Site Supervisors and manages transportation scheduling for consumers.
• Ensures attendance records are completed and submitted per agency policy.
• Maintains licensing compliance and documents for visits; implements state licensing rules and agency policies.
• Supports community relations by educating the public about development disabilities and promoting inclusion.
• Manages DSP staff by hiring, training, conducting performance reviews, and coordinating schedules and time off.
• Leads coordination with management and DSPs in meetings and program planning.
