Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services seeks a Program Manager to oversee day-to-day administration, programming, and operations of a community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex needs.

The role emphasizes leadership, advocacy, staff supervision, and ensuring high-quality, compliant service delivery within the agency's mission and regulatory standards. Exempt position with evening/on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in related field preferred with at least 1 year experience in the human service field.
• 4+ years previous work experience in human service setting with demonstrated leadership skills in lieu of educational requirement.
• CPR/SFA certification within 30 days; Mandt & DPH MAP certification within 90 days; Driver’s License upon hire.
• Proficient in clinical and professional verbal, writing, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in staff recruitment, interviewing and hiring. Provides staff orientation, scheduling, direct observation of work, supervision, conflict resolution, and performance evaluation.
• Manages day-to-day operations including scheduling staff, budgeting, and financial processes.
• Provides crisis assessment, prevention, and needed intervention during business hours and on-call nights/weekends.
• Ensures adherence to Positive Behavioral Supports and program models; coordinates service plan development and implementation.
• Represents Bay Cove to the community and stakeholders professionally and with respect.
