Job summary

William James College, located in Newton, MA, is seeking a full-time Program Manager for the Center for Crisis Response and Behavioral Health to provide administrative and project support to the Center Director and Associate Director.

The role involves coordinating meetings and events, managing calendars, liaising with Marketing & Communications, overseeing continuing education activities, and handling budgeting, travel, and grant reporting for CRBH.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in program or project management, coordination, or related administrative role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, communications, higher education administration, or related field.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit, behavioral health, or mission-driven organizations.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication across departments.
• Experience with budget tracking, expense management, financial documentation, and/or grant administration.
• Experience coordinating meetings, trainings, webinars, conferences, or events.
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Constant Contact) and virtual event tools (Zoom, MS Teams).
• Ability to work independently, manage projects from initiation through completion, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the CRBH team.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and events, and manage calendars.
• Serve as liaison with Marketing & Communications; manage listservs and communications.
• Coordinate website updates, training calendars, media content, and marketing materials.
• Book rooms, arrange supplies, food, and AV for trainings onsite.
• Support continuing education programs and attendee communications.
