Job summary

The Arc Southern Chesapeake is seeking a Program Manager to oversee administrative operations across the Tri-County area (Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s). Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will manage staff, budgets, and program-wide issues while supporting individual choice and community inclusion.

Travel by car to various sites and meetings is expected. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to respond to emergencies after hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience working with persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work across Tri-County area and cover emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, hire, evaluate, and terminate as needed.
• Manage program budgets and monitor bank accounts and funding.
• Review documentation and ensure timely reporting and compliance.
• Respond to emergencies after hours and coordinate with PCP/DS oversight.
• Foster inclusion and individual choice with community resources.
