Job summary

Strategies to Empower People seeks a full-time Program Manager for Behavioral Support Services in Sacramento. The role coordinates, develops, and implements our community-based supported living program for adults with I/DD facing behavioral and medical challenges.

On-site leadership and crisis planning are central to the job. You will work with Directors, Managers, and Field Supervisors to supervise staff, perform assessments, and craft treatment plans while ensuring compliance with Medi-Cal and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working directly with individuals with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
• Minimum 3 years working with individuals with regular behavioral challenges ( aggression, elopement, self-injury).
• Educational background BA/MA in related field (Psychiatry or Social Work).
• At least 2 years of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience (supervising staff).
• Understanding of Supported Living Services (SLS) and Medi-Cal system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Supported Living Services for I/DD adults.
• Develop and implement plans, goals, and celebrations for clients.
• Handle administrative duties: documentation, reports, and supervision of field staff.
• Conduct on-site assessments and provide hands-on support to clients.
• Implement crisis intervention plans and therapeutic treatment plans.
• Durably supervise program operations and ensure quality assurance.
