Job summary

Strategies to Empower People seeks a full-time Program Manager for Behavioral Support Services in the Sacramento region. You will coordinate and manage community-based supported living for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including on-site client support and team supervision.

The role requires extensive experience with I/DD populations, behavioral challenges, and supervision, along with an understanding of Medi-Cal systems.

Qualifications

3+ years supervising staff in human services.
3+ years experience with I/DD population and behavior challenges.
BA/MA in Psychiatry or Social Work or related field.
2+ years of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate Supported Living Services for I/DD adults in the Sacramento area.
Handle general administrative duties including documentation and reports; supervise field staff.
Conduct on-site assessments for new clients and provide hands-on support to current clients.
Develop and implement plans, goals, and celebrations for people supported; ensure crisis plans and treatment plans are written and followed.
Perform quality assurance checks and manage supervisory responsibilities.
