Job summary

Strategies to Empower People seeks a full-time Program Manager for the Behavioral Support Services program in Sacramento. The role oversees the Supported Living Services for adults with I/DD, coordinating documentation, on-site assessments, and staff supervision to implement plans and goals for the people we support.

Candidates must have at least three years working with I/DD and behavioral challenges, a BA/MA in a related field, two years supervisory/finance experience, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Three (3) years experience working directly with individuals who have Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
• Three (3) years experience working directly with individuals who have regular and consistent behavioral challenges, including physical aggression, elopement, self-injurious behaviors, and other challenges.
• Educational background (BA/MA) in a related field, such as Psychiatry or Social Work.
• At least two (2) years of supervisory and budgetary/finance experience, supervising staff not individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of Supported Living Services (SLS) and the Medi-Cal system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate Supported Living Services for the I/DD adults in the Sacramento area.
• Handle administrative duties: documentation, reports, and supervising field staff.
• Perform on-site assessments for incoming clients and provide hands-on support for current clients.
• Develop and implement plans, goals, and celebrations for the people we support.
• Implement crisis intervention plans and write/implement therapeutic treatment plans.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and fulfill high supervisory/management tasks.
