Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Program Manager to own the strategic and operational roadmap of the Workforce Management (WFM) product. You will lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, delivery tracking, and stakeholder updates, while driving automation and AI-enabled improvements across workflows.

You will coordinate with engineering, data, and business teams to keep delivery on track, manage competing priorities, and build runbooks and playbooks for reliable, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day program execution for the WFM product: sprint planning, backlog grooming, delivery tracking, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities across WFM operational processes, reducing manual toil and cycle time.
• Apply AI and generative AI tools to streamline recurring tasks (reporting, data pulls, status aggregation, triage).
• Coordinate across engineering, data, and business teams to keep WFM product delivery on track and unblocked.
• Manage competing priorities and shifting requirements with agility; make fast judgment calls on what to pick up, defer, or automate.
• Build and maintain operational runbooks, process documentation, and automation playbooks.
• Track and report on delivery metrics, surfacing risks and blockers early to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by measuring what's working, cutting what isn't, and proposing AI-augmented workflows where manual effort is high.
