Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Program Manager to own the strategic and operational roadmap of the Workforce Management product. You will run the execution engine: sprint management, stakeholder coordination, delivery tracking, and runbooks to automate where possible.

This role emphasizes AI-driven efficiency, cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data, and business teams, and delivering reliable WFM product outcomes with agility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day program execution for the WFM product: sprint planning, backlog grooming, delivery tracking, and stakeholder updates.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities across WFM operational processes, reducing manual toil and cycle time.
• Apply AI and generative AI tools to streamline recurring tasks (reporting, data pulls, status aggregation, triage).
• Coordinate across engineering, data, and business teams to keep WFM product delivery on track and unblocked.
• Manage competing priorities and shifting requirements with agility; make fast judgment calls on what to pick up, defer, or automate.
• Build and maintain operational runbooks, process documentation, and automation playbooks.
• Track and report on delivery metrics, surfacing risks and blockers early to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by measuring what's working, cutting what isn't, and proposing AI-augmented workflows where manual effort is high.
