The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking a strategic leader to head the Grants Oversight Office within the Office of Public Health in Baton Rouge. You will guide the full grant lifecycle from proposal strategy to closeout, shaping agency policy and driving data-informed investment decisions.

Lead the strategy behind high-impact public health funding as you direct a centralized Grants Oversight Office serving the Office of Public Health within the Louisiana Department of Health. In this leadership role, you’ll guide the full grant lifecycle—from proposal strategy to financial oversight and closeout—while shaping agency-wide policy, strengthening compliance, and driving data-informed investment decisions. You’ll collaborate with executive leadership, supervise a dedicated team, and ensure grant-funded initiatives deliver measurable outcomes that improve health across Louisiana. Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
