Job summary

General Motors LLC in Warren, Michigan, seeks a Program Management Intern to support GMNA Design through process documentation and continuous improvement. You will document workflows and help develop repeatable ways of working with program managers and studio partners.

This onsite internship requires pursuing a Bachelor's or graduate degree and graduating between December 2027 and May 2029, with full-time summer hours. GM provides a lump-sum stipend and relocation support if applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in business, engineering, operations, industrial engineering, information systems, design, or related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week during the summer months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Program Management milestone checklist with clear ownership and usability for program managers.
• Document workflows, handoffs, inputs, outputs, dependencies, and decision points.
• Create process maps, workflow diagrams, standard work, and supporting reference materials.
• Identify gaps and bottlenecks and support future-state recommendations.
• Organize information from meetings and maintain action logs, decision logs, and follow-up items.
